About

Umoja Africa Journeys is a joint venture between Umoja Motherland Tours and Private Journeys Uganda, led by Mwanja Peter and Agnes Mirembe and drawing on more than 20 years of combined tourism experience. The company runs safari, gorilla-trekking and wildlife-viewing trips across Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia, including fly-in gorilla safaris and combined gorilla-trekking-and-chimpanzee-with-cruise itineraries. Its guides are trained through Africa Guide Training and hold Conservation Nature Guide certification, and the company works with the Uganda Wildlife Authority and Uganda Tourism Board.
