About
After retiring from a career in corporate America I started my tour directing career and now I am a TripSchool Certified Tour Director-BootCamp-San Francisco 2026. I started leading your tours in the busy months of May and June primarily in Washington D. C. and New York City, where I am licensed. Leading these tours was exhilarating and a wonderful experience, I loved it. I thrive on the "go go" atmosphere where things are coming at you a mile a minute where you have to change, adapt and redirect on the fly. I am at a place in my life where I have the time to do the things I love. I have been busy volunteering at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare festival, the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, Classical Tahoe and at my local church. I am now able to do much more leisure reading and I enjoy everything about American history. While in college I took a large number of history classes and now I am able to pick up where I left off with my curiosity of American History. I thrive on staying active with a purpose and tour directing checks all the boxes. Coming from a family of six and having my own family with four boys, all successfully launched now, I am at home in active group settings. Hobbies & Interests
Outdoor Adventures: Skiing, hiking, cycling, camping, kayaking, cooking, and gardening. Staying physically fit and in great shape, physically and mentally, is the key to longevity and it enables me to have the active lifestyle I enjoy. That said, I do enjoy binge watching TV series like: The West Wing, Madam Secretary and House of Cards, as well as going to the movies to see the latest blockbuster when I have some down time. I also became an ordained minister after my niece asked me to marry her and later one of my nephews asked me to marry him, I officiated these weddings
Fun Fact
I was a croupier at Caesars Lake Tahoe for several years where I dealt Craps and Blackjack among other table games.
