About
My 30 years of classroom experience teaching Spanish and English Literature have taught me that the best classrooms don’t have four walls. They’ve been in museums and markets, on city streets and mountain trails, and around a table sharing a meal--Places where people can see, feel, taste, and experience the world for themselves. Meaningful experiences begin with connection: to a place, to its people and stories, and to the people we’re sharing the journey with. As a tour director I love bringing people together, helping them feel comfortable stepping outside their comfort zones, and creating experiences where they can discover something new—not only about the destination, but about themselves. I’m a lifelong traveler and curious explorer, from the beautiful landscapes of Michigan to our National Parks, the mountains of Costa Rica, and the streets and cafés of Europe. But for me, travel isn’t simply about seeing beautiful places. It’s about gaining perspective. Every journey is different, even when we travel the same path. We each arrive with our own experiences and leave with new stories, new connections, and sometimes an entirely new way of seeing the world. That’s the kind of journey I want to lead: one where people don’t just visit a place—they connect with it, learn from it, and discover what’s next.
