About
I left the classroom behind, but not the learning! As an educator of 13 years, it was time for me to take my skills on the road. I started traveling after finishing high school, and between several stints working and teaching abroad, along with spending as many vacations as possible somewhere else in the world, my wanderlust has never left me. I've been traveling the world for 20+ years, eager to learn new things, meet new people, and share experiences with others. During my time as a teacher, I acquired skills in leadership, organizational processes, and public speaking that serve me beyond the classroom. As a traveler, I am a curious, flexible problem-solver who is able to adapt to changing circumstances as they arise. I am confident in my ability to provide an engaging experience for guests. As I like to say, it's always an adventure!
Hobbies & Interests
When I’m not guiding, I like to combine my two favorite hobbies of traveling and reading by bringing books along on my trips and putting them in seatback pockets, never to be touched until they’re removed at the end of the flight. When I’m not in the skies or on the road, I can be found swimming laps, cooking, baking, or hiking local trails with my husband and our dog.
Fun Fact
I missed my first day of Kindergarten because I broke my arm in two places the night before!
