About
Travel has been my biggest motivator in seeking a full life with new landscapes and more importantly, people and their stories. Before moving to the DC area, I worked with youth programs on cruise ships and educational summer camps for teenagers. I learned how to work long hours every day of the week, the importance of providing excellent customer service, and communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds. My priority is leading adult tours in the western national parks, Alaska, fall foliage in New England, and southeast coastal tours, but I’m always open to learning more! I also guide for some student tours around the DC area and prefer to go home at night since I am local! I also run a travel agency focusing on adventure travel and offer coaching for aspiring long-term travelers. I believe travel is a great tool for education and personal transformation.
Hobbies & Interests
I have played soccer for about 20 years and have always been drawn to salt water. I snorkel, scuba dive, kayak, and enjoy seeing all types of underwater wildlife. I also attempt to grow fruit and vegetables in raised garden beds at home.
Fun Fact
I once spent a few weeks around Western Australia sleeping in a camping hammock.
