Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
About
For 25 years, I taught English and journalism at the high-school level in Kansas City. During that time, I discovered the joy of student travel; I led more than 600 students on 25 tours visiting 35 countries. On those tours, I discovered what my passion is. Not only do I enjoy travel, but I like sharing that passion with others. So, though I'm not in a classroom per se, I now put my craft to work at wonderful sites across our beloved nation. Although I'm relatively new as a tour director, leadership on tour is not new to me at all. I have significant experience on the US Eastern Seaboard (licensed in DC and NYC). I am well-travelled in California, the US National Parks, the Pacific Northwest, and Alaska as well. I am excited to share my passion with any group of travelers, student or adult. I have the skills needed to manage a group, small or large. I possess skills in organization, communications, and celebrating great moments.
