Hello there! I'm Jacob. I'm 25 years old, from Providence, Rhode Island. As a student, my love for travel fueled my dreams of being an environmental cinematographer. Recently, my spirituality has fostered my priorities to put the camera down and experience life directly. This has led me to the world of tour directing. I am a strong advocate for the global efforts of environmental conservation and sustainability, which fuels my interest in tours centered in environmental history, animal science, and biodiversity. Whether it is via hiking, zip lining, snorkeling, etc., I am driven to appreciate as many life forms as I can.
Hobbies & Interests
Growing up, my winters were spent skiing on the snowy mountains of New England. My summers involved sandcastles, boogie-boarding and Iggy's clam chowder on the shores of Narragansett, RI. My fascination with marine life has recently led me to SCUBA diving. In college, my academics were focused on Film and Biology, which will propagate wildlife photography in my adulthood. I have also been performing on stage my entire life, singing and dancing since I was a little boy. I was a Baritone vocalist in the Fitchburg State University concert and chamber choir. I also taught Advanced Hip Hop and Video Pop with the Fitchburg State University Dance Club. Since the pandemic, I have a newly found appreciation for health, fitness, and mindfulness which has pushed me towards running 5k's, prioritizing nutrition, and reading novels when I have the time.
