About
I am a lifelong adventurer and natural storyteller currently living and working at the Grand Canyon as a Concierge with Xanterra Travel Collection — where I have been the top tour sales performer for four consecutive months. Every day I help visitors from around the world discover experiences that take their breath away, and every day I think: I want to be on that bus. I grew up in New England, lived in Europe for five years, and have spent decades leading groups of all kinds — Girl Scout troops on wilderness camping trips, FIRST Robotics teams through ten years of competitions, international students navigating American culture for the first time, and guests at one of the most visited places on earth. I am a Toastmasters Impromptu Speaking Champion, FEMA certified, and genuinely comfortable in front of any audience. My two children are grown, I have no home base requirements, and I am fully ready to embrace life on the road. I am enrolling in TripSchool because I believe in investing in my craft before I need to — and because I want to be extraordinary at this, not just adequate. The Grand Canyon is my classroom right now. TripSchool is my next step.

Fun Fact
I live at the Grand Canyon — not near it, not visiting it — I actually live here. It never gets old. I once directed a comedy night that had the whole school in stitches — and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I grew up in New England where I learned that weather is a suggestion, not a guarantee. I lived in Europe for five years and came back with a deep appreciation for slow meals, good wine, and the art of getting genuinely lost somewhere beautiful. I coached the same 10 girls through robotics for 12 years — watched them go from never holding a screwdriver to heading off to college. Still my proudest achievement. I won a Toastmasters Impromptu Speaking Contest — which means I genuinely enjoy being handed a topic with zero warning and told to entertain a room. I am a degreed mechanical engineer who would rather be on a trail than in an office. Boeing was great. The Grand Canyon is better. I have sold mule rides to people who were terrified of heights and convinced them it was the best decision of their life. They always agree afterward.
