About
I am a tour director and guide with a background in education and educational consulting. As a former group tour groupie I am thrilled to be leading tours myself now. I love to stretch myself and grow. My least favorite subject was math. In my quest to be a great math teacher I became a math consultant and even wrote a book about teaching math. I am always stretching myself and learning. I think that you never truly grow old if you constantly challenge yourself.
Hobbies & Interests
I love to garden. I am currently creating a woodland garden in my backyard. I also love my hometown, Chattanooga. I love learning about the history and the current issues. It brings me such pleasure to open the eyes of my neighbors and friends to our unique place in the world. I also love photography. I love to take photography tours when I go to a new place.
Fun Fact
I backpacked through Europe for 6 weeks with only set plans for the first and last day.
