About
Hi, I'm Denielle, pronounced Den-Neil, though most people just call me Dee. I grew up in Massachusetts, just outside of Boston, and now call McDonough, Georgia home. I proudly served in the Army National Guard for eight years, achieving the rank of Sergeant and having the honor of serving on the Honor Guard. I often joke that I've been traveling since I was in the womb and haven't stopped since—thanks to my parents, who instilled a love of adventure in me from the very beginning. I enjoy staying active, working with people, and spending time outdoors. You'll rarely find me in an office unless I'm cooling off from the Georgia heat! Over the years, I've gained experience in a variety of customer-focused roles, including receptionist, administrative assistant, travel agent, and my current position at Zoo Atlanta. One of my favorite experiences is leading student tours in Washington, D.C., where I enjoy interacting with guests, welcoming groups, and helping visitors find activities and attractions that make their trip memorable. If there's one thing people learn about me quickly, it's that I love sharing information. Sometimes I may give more details than necessary, but I figure it's better to have too much information than not enough! At least no one can say I didn't tell them everything they needed to know—ha!
Hobbies & Interests
I love to hike trails, camping with my children, run, reading biographies, and bike ride when I have time. I love to explore new cities that I haven't been to.
