When people find out I was a veterinarian, their first question is "so why are you a tour director now"? I simply grin and respond “because people don’t bite… usually” . Like being a veterinarian, no day as a tour director is ever the same and there are always new adventures. I just get to have the adventures with people now, and occasionally some fun wildlife is included along the way.
Hobbies & Interests
Licensed drone pilot, scuba diver, and pickleball addict. I never say no to a good zipline either. I love to swing a hammer, and help build houses with other women from Alachua Women Build (Habitat for Humanity).
Fun Fact
I spent 3 months during a "covid" summer, taking care of orphaned baby harbor seals in the Netherlands.
